Well fiends, here goes, the new Coffin Birth album will be entitled.... WITHIN THE CLAWS OF PERIL ! We are hoping for a Halloween 2009 release and are currently looking for a reliable label to help us get this madness out to the masses. Please contact us at contact@coffinbirth.com and we'll talk.
The cover is also completed so stay tuned and we will be posting a preview this summer. The new album is written so now we are back to practise, practise, practise and then of to the studio we go !
We also have changed the Buy now options for the Miracle of Death CD and our sporty green logo Coffin Birth Tees. AS a celebration of the new album we will be offering (for a limited time) the Cd and shirt for a mere 25$ including postage. All prices are in US funds and for those outside of North America please email us for postage. So if you always wanted a Coffin Birth Cd and / or shirt, nows the time motherfuckers studio time aint cheap!

'Tis another year and although our months are cold and miserable in this part of the world, we are keeping our grubby little fingers warm by pumping out some molten metal. The new album is well under way now, once again Mr.Pat Byers will be doing the cover and we are getting close to completing the writing process. 6 songs in but no title yet - Stay tuned !
We still have some Miracle of Death CD's and some T shirts left. The CD's are 10 $ US and the shirts are 15 $ US ( please email us for postage). If you are interested in getting decked out in CB gear or just want to ruin your hearing - give us a shout - we may even try to swing you a deal...
We are planning to blaspheme stages again this year once we thaw out. So if any of you promoters out there want us to fuck things up in your town please give us a shout. We are also looking for a lead guitar player to play live with us, so if you are in the neighbourhood and got the skills send us an email and we'll talk.
We are hoping to have the new album ready for a Halloween release and although we have spoken to a few labels, nothing is written in stone yet. If you are part of a label and would like to assist us in releasing our sophomore release then please contact us at: contact AT coffinbirth.com

VERY busy over the last months fiends so here we go - in point form even !
- Halloween was a drunken mess but a godamn good time was had by all - thanks to all the local degenerates that showed up ! Big thanks goes out to Shane " Doug Graves" Storey for helping us out this year and shredding the leads onstage with us. Thanks brother !
- The Music of Artisanship and War Volume 2 : Thanks to Diminished Fifth records for giving us the honor of appearing as track number 1 on their most excellent Maritime Metal comp. this year. Check em out @ diminshedfifthrecords.ca.
- We have also appeared in Metal Maniacs December edition on the CD Sampler. The Song "Spiders of Insomnia" had been chosen for the compilation. Big thanks to Joe for Bleak Art records for all his hard work.
We are now officially in hibernation mode. We will not be playing live again until sometime in the Spring ( IF we find a lead guitar to play live ) as we are writing for the new album. We are about half done the writing process and have about 5 songs almost ready for the grave. Stay tuned until next year when we will have an album and song titles for ya. Hope you all have sometime off for the holidays to spread the mayhem and chill the fuck out.
